The best anti-thesis to the notion that domestic Chinese brands are often shunned by Chinese citizens. Although food safety still remains a concern, the progress made by China in its domestic manufacturing in terms of product quality and improving customers' brand perceptions will go a long way in stimulating domestic consumption - a key prerequisite for China's economic rebalancing to reduce its reliance on export-driven growth. |
