London & Beyond: FILM Wanderlust Down the Lea

London & Beyond: FILM Wanderlust Down the Lea | London Life Archive | Scoop.it

"This atmospheric film follows a journey down the Lea river, from Luton to the Thames. The website includes the full film plus a series of revealing audio interviews with folk who dwell in the valley, inluding one with me and my dog Hendrix (the dog refused to speak, unfortunately)."

Ursula O'Reilly Traynor 's insight:
This is really worth watching. It's serene, poetic and gently presented. A walk by the river Lea from Leagrave in Luton to East London. Not what you'd expect.  Deserves an award of some kind.

Interesting to watch someone else's view of somewhere I know well too. I see the blue fence was still there - when was it filmed? Nicely minimal.

Hi Diana, I was interviewed for the audio section of their website around 6 weeks ago and they were still putting the film together at the time, so it's very recent.
