As part of the new season of after-school coding clubs, Code Club Luxembourg is organising a “Coding Goûter” at the Technoport in Belval, this Sunday, 8 October 2017, from 14:00 to 17:00.

Coding Goûter is a multilingual event (EN/FR/DE/LB) where children aged 6 to 12, accompanied by an adult, get to know computer programming in a fun and playful way.

The main idea behind “Coding Goûter” is to allow children to make their first steps in digital coding together with their parents. The whole family will learn some computing basics, under the guidance of experts volunteering for Code Club.

The programme includes a hands-on approach to creating video games and steering robots as well as lots of fun activities around computers for the whole family.

Not to forget a workshop specifically designed for parents.

Depuis la rentrée des classes 2015, les bureaux d’Agile Partner accueillent les jeunes codeurs du club de Strassen. Au-delà de cet appui logistique, c'est une véritable envie de transmettre un savoir - et souvent une passion - qui anime la société et ses collaborateurs. Patrick Welfringer, fondateur du Code Club Luxembourg, et Annabelle Buffart, consultante chez Agile Partner, nous ont fait part de leurs convictions communes, de leurs ambitions et de leur enthousiasme.

It might not be the most common after school activity, but if you drop by Schifflange elementary school, Albert Wingert on a Tuesday evening, you will find a group of enthusiastic 9-11-year-olds learning how to code.

Apprendre gratuitement les rudiments du code à des enfants de 9 à 12 ans, mais aussi développer leur esprit critique et leur goût de l’informatique, tels sont les objectifs du Code Club Luxembourg. Animé par l’énergie d’une brochette de bénévoles, il accueillera ce mercredi 11 novembre Francine Closener, intéressée par le concept.
